Mitchell has always had his own sense of style. It was the case for his year 6 farewell last month. Andrew has affectionately renamed Mitchell 'chipmunk' due to his choice of sunglasses. He had a great night and it was reassuring to me to see that although he has only been at this school for less than a year, he has made some really close friends and has adjusted well after not wanting to move from his previous school.
It is strange to think that he will be off to High School after the holidays. I am hesitant to label him as small, but he just does not seem big enough to go. Mitchell's personality and attitude has always dwarfed his physical size though and he has no fear, only excitement. He even confessed that he wished they could just go straight to High school and skip the holidays because he is so excited.
I hope it lasts.
I hope Colo High is ready for Mitchell Wilson. I am sure the sports department will get to know him really well, as he follows in his brother's footsteps.
I have put my name down on the canteen roster now that I have 3 of them at the same High School. I am planning to spy on them all! Hopefully they will look out for one another.

Year 6 Farewell! Not fair! I still (after 16+ years) get a little bitter when I think about missing mine because we moved to America halfway through year 6. I know, I should just get over it. It's crazy that Mitchell will be in High School--Good luck (to all of you)!
