Our friends who live down the road from us have a horse stud. I drove past yesterday and saw their new foal, born that morning. It is so cute and wobbly on its legs. I had to show you all how adorable it is. I took these photos of it today. This is their second one born in the last two weeks.
This really makes me love Spring!
Every time I drive past I stop to have a peek at their beautiful horses. Linda, the owner said she saw me pull over the other day and thought I was stopping to help her catch the horse
she was after, until I drove off. I had to admit that I was oblivious to her, and that I was simply looking at the foals.

Baby animals are just so cute. We'll have to come over and see the foal.
Oh, McKinlay would love that too.
Gorgeous. I like 'em small! Big horses are a bit scary. Ruth the Wimp
I'll never EVER forget the time in Australia when Tania asked me to lower the gate post so she could walk Tsar down to the file. Even though I lowered it when Tania said she had hold of him, Tsar escaped and it was just awful to see him running off down the road. I also remember the night when we had a terrific thunderstorm and I'd been ill with a migraine so had gone to bed early evening. I woke in the middle of the night with the thunder to see Tsar on his hind legs with the lightning in the sky. I've been absolutely terrified of horses ever since! Even so, I think the little one is beautiful...from a distance.
They are so gorgeous. I really love where you guys live and seeing all of the beautiful fields and horses and cows.
